Bruckenthurn an welchem die Köpff auffgesteckt: the bridge tower on which the heads were put up. Twelve heads were hung from the Old Town Bridge Tower, the gate to Charles Bridge, where everyone crossing the river would see them. Count Schlick’s was taken down in May 1622 at his widow’s request. The other eleven stayed until the Saxon army took Prague in November 1631 and had them buried in the Týn Church.
