The caption reads Simon Sušický und Hans Kutenhauer beyde zum Altstetter Rahthaus hinaus gehenkt: both hanged out of the Old Town Hall. A nobleman died by the sword; the rope was for thieves, and choosing it for these burghers was meant as a disgrace.
